Job Description

An established, full-service professional services environment is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its highly regarded team. This role supports complex commercial real estate transactions with an emphasis on title and survey review, due diligence, and closing coordination.

Top Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
  • Strong expertise in title and survey review and analysis
  • Bachelor's degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certificate

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct title review and analysis - commitments, policies, endorsements, and exception documents
  • Review and analyze ALTA/NSPS surveys, identifying easements, encroachments, and discrepancies
  • Prepare title review memoranda, objection letters, and track resolution through closing
  • Coordinate with all parties to resolve issues
  • Manage due diligence materials, including zoning, environmental, and property condition reports
  • Prepare and maintain closing checklists, settlement statements, and closing binders
  • Draft and coordinate estoppels, SNDAs, leases, and related agreements
  • Prepare and file UCC financing statements and manage entity formation documentation
  • Track deadlines, manage timelines, and support post-closing deliverables

Required Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and closing processes
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze title commitments and surveys
  • Experience coordinating multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with land use and environmental matters is a plus
